You need to use first-person POV and the Zappflies to hunt the other critters. You can also use the jump button to climb on and off of ropes.Īmmo comes in the form of little critters that you need to hunt and collect when you run out. Some platforms are bigger, so you need to tap the button twice to get up higher.Īnd finally, if you need to jump over a gap, run to the edge and press Jump, then press it again while in the air. During the course of Stranger's Wrath, you will come across a wide variety and a devastating number of smoking guns, bandits, crooks, thieves, criminals, dirtbags, weirdos, ganglords, corrupt cowboys, murderers, maniacs, loons, felons, scandalous scoundrels, devious evil-doers, nefarious monsters, wicked villains, shady wildcats, dirty Harrys, unlawful thugs, outlaws, hooligans, unrepentant sinners, hoodlums, desperadoes, immoral hustlers, repeating ex-cons, convicts, fugitives, mobsters, muscles, bodyguards, vile delinquents, trespassing jailbirds, racketeering rascals, deplorable sewage dwellers, and just plain ol' dishonest beings. ![]() On your radar, you will see a "Spotted!" icon appear to alert you when an enemy has you in their sights. Using this, the game safely implements stealth gameplay into the fray without causing much ruckus— -in fact, you'll likely ignore the fact unless you're big on that type of genre. Radar Love One of the most intriguing aspects of Stranger's Wrath is the awesome radar system. Go to "FPS Flip Y" and select "On." This will change your FPS controls to Invert. Keep in mind that most new First Person games control as the Stranger's Wrath default controls, but for those of us that played prior to the Halo era will likely enjoy the inverted controls better. We used inverted controls in this one, and we recommend giving it a shot, as it feels natural to us. After they've been slain or wrapped up, suck them into your weaponry with the X button.įirst Person Shooter If you dislike the way the first person shooting aspect of the game plays, you can always invert the controls to suit your own preference. You can bring the enemy in dead or alive. Wanted Dead Or Alive With the bosses in the game, you must capture them and return them to town to prove that they've been captured and no longer a problem for the town. This is fairly easy and runs very smoothly. Press the R Stick in to switch your viewpoint back and forth. Stranger's Wrath pulls this awesome feature off with ease, so you should get accustomed to it. Getting Around From Third Person To First Person In Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, you will encounter countless times where you must switch from first person mode to third person mode, and vice versa. ![]()
